The following instructions explain how to
setup DreamWeaver 3 for FTP access to your Pacific Online business or
personal account.
Open DreamWeaver 3 and click on the site menu - then click
"Define Sites:

Next Click the New button.

|
|
Site Name: this can be whatever you
want to call your website
Local Root Folder: this is the directory where your website is
stored on your computer
HTTP Address: Enter http://<domain name> for the URL of your Web
site or if you have a personal account enter: home.pon.net/"username"
- where username is YOUR username
Once the above information has been entered, click on the title called
"Web Server Info" in the list on the left

Server Access: select FTP from the
the top pull-down menu.
FTP Host: enter ftp.domain.com for the FTP Host (where domain.com is your website name)
If you have a personal site, enter: ftp.pon.net
Host Directory: Leave blank
Login: This is either your domain name (NO www or .com) or if you
have a personal website, it is your "username"
Password: Enter your FTP password in the password box.
Now Click OK

Lastly, click Done - that's it - you should
now be able to publish content to your website!
