At the main menu, select the
Options button and press the A button. |
 |
Use the cursor to highlight
the Internet Connection icon and press the A button. |
 |
Fill out the Basic Info shown
to the right. Enter your local dial up number given to you at signup
including area code for the Dial Up Number, leaving the backup number
blank unless instructed otherwise.
If you do not know what your local dial up number is, click here
or call 1-888-287-9766.

|
Next move your arrow
cursor to highlight the Dial Options at the top of the screen and hit the
A button. Enter the area code in the top box, and any call waiting,
or outside dial prefixes you need to use in dialing. Be sure that
the rest of the options match the screen to the right.
|
 |
Move the arrow cursor to
highlight Proxy Settings and hit the a button. Make sure you have
the No button checked under use Proxy. Once you have done that
select the ok button at the bottom of the screen.
|
 |
| Back in the options screen,
be sure to save your work, by clicking the save button at the bottom of
the screen. If you forget to do this or hit Cancel by accident you
will have to start all over. |
 |
From the main screen, click
on Enter to browse the web. This will cause your modem to dial up to
our service. The process of connecting usually takes between 15 - 45
seconds and you can disconnect from the Internet at any time by selecting
the arrows on any screen, or turning off your Dream Cast system.
