Pacific Online to sponsor Solar Car in Parade

Santa Rosa, CA – April 15, 2002 - Today, Pacific Online announced the entry of a solar racing vehicle into the 108th annual Santa Rosa Luther Burbank Rose Parade to be held Saturday May 18th. The solar car was built for Sunrayce 99, a 1300 mile collegiate solar race from Washington DC to Orlando, FL by the Cal Poly Solar Car Team in San Luis Obispo, CA. In addition to hosting the team's website, Pacific Online has sponsored several club events, and also supported their entry in the 1999 Sunrayce. 

About Santa Rosa Luther Burbank Rose Parade Festival
The Santa Rosa Luther Burbank Rose Parade Festival is an annual event held in May and attracts more than 3,500 participants to downtown Santa Rosa. A variety of groups participate in this parade including high school bands, drill teams, dance troops, non-profit groups, equestrians, & clowns.
