New Accelerator Service Offered for Dialup Users.|

Pacific Online is now offering a Client Side
configurable web accelerator. This is software that runs on your
computer and provides significant acceleration for dialup Internet
connections. The software allows you to choose the level of acceleration
or disable it entirely. It contains a built in pop up blocker which you
can configure to allow certain popups if desired.

Note: User's currently using the Slipstream accelerator will need
to switch to the Propel software on or before January 1st, 2005. You
will want to remove the Slipstream software before installing the Propel
Software. This *only* applies to users using Slipstream; this is not
applicable to many of our users.
Windows users can remove Slipstream by going to their Control Panel and
opening up Add/Remove programs and then removing the Slipstream program.
Macintosh OSX users can simply drag the program to the trash can. You
can find the program by Ctrl-Click (or right click) on the alias for an
application -- on the icon in the dock, for example -- and click "Show
Original." A window will open showing the program.

2005 Pacific Online has implemented a new Secure Webmail. This
digitally secures Webmail using a 128bit SSL certificate. If you are
engaging in sensitive data in your email consider using this new

the secure mail with the secure authentication feature in conventional
email programs such as Outlook Express.
