Multi-homed with access to multiple Tier 1 Internet Backbones. We use

and telecommunications
equipment from companies such as Cisco and Bay Networks.

Company History
Pacific Online opened for business in mid-1996, a partnership formed by two individuals
with years of computer, telecommunication, and bulletin board system experience. The pon.net
domain name was registered on July 9th, 1996. Starting from a small office in Rohnert
Park, CA, Pacific Online has since expanded and
grown to offer high speed DSL for much of California,
accelerated dialup
in 46 states, and a variety of
other services, including web site
hosting. |

On August 4th, 2000, Pacific Online incorporated and in October 2000 the company moved its
headquarters from Rohnert Park to Santa Rosa, CA. Pacific Online is a locally held,
privately owned company.
