Company History
Pacific Online opened for business in mid-1996, a partnership formed by two individuals
with previous computer, telecommunication, and bulletin board system experience. The pon.net
domain name was registered on July 9th, 1996. Starting from a small office in Rohnert
Park, CA, and bandwidth from West Coast Online, Pacific Online has since expanded and
grown to offer DSL for much of California as well as National Dialup and a variety of
other services including DSL, Accelerated

| On August 4th, 2000, Pacific Online incorporated and in October 2000 the company moved its
headquarters from Rohnert Park to Santa Rosa, CA. Pacific Online is a locally held,
privately owned company. In addition to its Santa Rosa headquarters, Pacific Online also
maintains equipment in downtown Santa Rosa. |
