Do NOT change your actual username. Do NOT
change your password. This is a Phone Number change only. If you
are not connecting right away, perhaps you do not have an
@pon.net
after your username and in this case you can type
@pon.net
after your username.
Do NOT dial an area code BEFORE the dialup number UNLESS you
normally have to dial your area code to make local phone calls.
Go to the "Start" button, then "Connect
To...", and find your Pacific Online connection in the list.
Click on it, as shown below.
The "Connect" window will appear as shown below -
with fields for "User name", "Dial" number, etc.
Simply change the Dialup Number to the new one.

When you've finished changing the dialup number, click
"dial" and a popup box will appear as shown below. Choose "yes"
to make the new phone number permanent. That's it!
